One thing I’ve learned through the years is that a strong foundation in math and computer science—combined with early exposure to creative problem-solving—can make a huge difference in a child’s future. In today’s digital world, computational thinking isn’t just a nice-to-have skill—it’s essential. That’s why I transitioned to tutoring in early 2024, combining my passion for teaching with my love for these subjects. I began as a senior instructor at a math tutoring center, and since early 2025, I’ve been offering tutoring sessions from my home, online, and through community centers and public school programs.

I specialize in 1:1, 2:1, and small group sessions, because I believe students learn best in quiet, focused environments with individualized attention. My teaching approach emphasizes real-world examples and hands-on activities, helping students understand and connect with concepts rather than simply memorize them. I also bring my software engineering background into my computer science lessons. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with many programming languages and used that experience to develop a unique format for my Scratch coding course. This course builds a strong visual and conceptual foundation, making it easier for kids to later transition to text-based programming languages.

My sessions are designed to be engaging and student-friendly—kids feel comfortable, ask questions freely, and genuinely enjoy the experience. Even those who are easily distracted tend to stay focused and excited to learn. I truly believe that sparking curiosity and confidence in math and computational skills at an early age can make a lasting difference in a child’s education and future.
