One thing I’ve learned through the years is that a strong foundation in math and computer science, combined with early exposure to creative problem-solving, can make a huge difference in a child’s future. In today’s digital world, computational thinking is an increasingly important skill. That’s what led me to begin my transition to tutoring in 2024, combining my passion for teaching with my love for these subjects.

I began as a senior instructor at a math tutoring center, and since early 2025, I’ve been offering tutoring sessions from my home, online, and through community centers and public school programs.

I specialize in 1:1, 2:1, and small group sessions, creating quiet, focused learning environments where students receive the attention they need. My teaching emphasizes understanding concepts, practicing skills, and connecting learning to real-world examples rather than simply memorizing procedures.

I also bring my software engineering background into my computer science lessons. In my Scratch course, students develop a strong visual and conceptual foundation that makes the transition to text-based programming languages easier. In my Python courses, students go beyond learning python syntax and build practical programs that apply programming concepts to real-world situations.

My sessions are designed to be engaging and student-friendly. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and exploring ideas. By building curiosity, confidence, and strong problem-solving skills early, I hope to give students a foundation that will serve them well throughout their education and beyond.
