Seeco Tutoring

Personalized math tutoring is offered for students in Kindergarten through Grade 8, using the Common Core curriculum as a foundation, with flexibility to adapt based on parent preferences and student needs.

The first session includes an in-depth assessment to identify the student’s current level, strengths, and areas for improvement. Detailed results are shared with parents, followed by a custom learning plan to guide future lessons.

Support includes concept instruction, guided practice using worksheets, homework help, and test preparation—tailored to the needs of each session. Worksheets are pre-printed for each session based on student goals and selected from multiple trusted, curriculum-aligned resources to provide a diverse range of problem types and meaningful practice.

For students in Grades 2–6, optional Math Kangaroo preparation sessions are offered using past content papers to develop advanced thinking and analytical skills. These sessions involve additional preparation and may be available at an added cost.

This course lays a strong foundation in computer science by introducing students to core programming concepts using Scratch, a beginner-friendly visual coding platform. Designed for students in Grades 3–8, the curriculum mirrors how programming is taught in more advanced, text-based languages—making it both fun and future-ready.

Whether your child is brand new to coding or has prior experience with Scratch, this course offers a rewarding and enriching learning experience. Through hands-on, project-based learning, students will explore key programming concepts such as variables, loops, conditionals, animations, and even game development..

Classes are held weekly and include bite-sized coding challenges that gradually increase in complexity. While each session builds on prior lessons, the course is carefully structured to ensure that all so that all essential concepts are covered during class time. This allows students to comfortably join mid-course or return after a missed session without falling behind.

In-person sessions take place at my home tutoring space.
Parents are welcome to wait in a cozy lounge area (my den!) and enjoy coffee, or drop off and return after the session.
Online sessions are done over Google Meet, using screen sharing, interactive tools and online worksheets.
